The company traces its origins to Nagakusa Embroidery Ltd., founded by Yoshinosuke Nagakusa.
Nuitsukasa Nagakusa Inc. was established in 1982.
Toshiaki Nagakusa became the second-generation Representative Director in 2004, followed by Shingo Nagakusa as the third-generation Representative Director in 2020.
In 2024, Ayumu Nagakusa succeeded as the fourth-generation Representative Director and currently leads the company.
